Collingwood’s Darcy Cameron has been selected to represent Western Australia in the 2026 AAMI AFL Origin game.

The AFL have today unveiled the next wave of players selected to represent their state, with Darcy Cameron joining other AFL premiership players in Bradley Hill, Charlie Cameron and Kysaiah Pickett.

Regarded as one of the league's best rucks, Cameron enters the game following standout 2024 and 2025 seasons, highlighted by his selection in the 2024 All-Australian squad and claiming his maiden Club best and fairest award this year.

“To be selected in the AFL Origin game is an incredible honour and will be an experience I will always remember,” Cameron said.

“I can’t wait to represent Western Australia, to make my home state proud and to play alongside and against some of the AFL’s best talent.”

Earlier this month, Nick Daicos was announced in the 2026 AAMI AFL Origin Victorian team.

The 2026 AAMI AFL Origin game will start at 7:40pm AEDT on Saturday 14 February at Optus Stadium, with the game to be broadcast on Channel 7 and Fox, as well as 7Plus and Kayo streaming platforms.
