Collingwood supporters are being given the opportunity to be part of history as next week the club will attempt to rally the Magpie Army to create the biggest television commercial ever made in Australia.

The club does not want to spoil the surprise by revealing the creative details of the advertisement but can disclose that, similar to our March to October visual campaign, it will involve players and supporters together Side by Side.

The club needs your help as we will require over 3000 Collingwood faithful to feature in the ad in full black & white Collingwood uniform.

Collingwood CEO Gary Pert said, “This is a huge challenge for the club to undertake a production of this scale, but the initial response from supporters is they love the opportunity of being part of Collingwood history in our premiership year.

"To ensure everyone remembers the experience forever players will attend, we will have face painters for the kids and everyone on the day will have the opportunity of having their photo taken with the premiership cup."

To be part of this history making event please come to Gosch’s Paddock on the corner of Swan St and Punt Road, Richmond on Monday December 13 from 4.30pm.

Premiership players will be attendance to sign autographs, the premiership cup will be onsite for free photographs and 2011 memberships and merchandise will be on sale.
